The Langhe is one of Italy’s main wine regions. Since time immemorial, important red wines have been produced here. Diano d’Alba is one of the leading areas in the production of Dolcetto. Barbera and Nebbiolo grapes yield rich wines with a significant structure.

 

Langhe Bianco doc
Vineyard: south facing, 675-750 m a.s.l. , clay, sandstone and gravel soil.
Grape variety: Manzoni Bianco Timorasso
Fermentation: temperature controlled steel tank, no wood aging.

Vineyard: south and southwest facing, 370-420 m a.s.l. ,clay and gravel soil.
Grape variety: mainly Dolcetto, with Barbera and Nebbiolo
Fermentation: temperature controlled steel tank, wood aging for Barbera and Nebbiolo, no new wood.
Food combinations: pasta and meat dishes
Diano D’Alba DOC
Vineyard: south facing, 340-370 m a.s.l. , clay and gravel soil, 70 year old vines.
Grape variety: Dolcetto
Fermentation: temperature controlled steel tank, no wood aging.

Barbera’d’Alba doc
Vineyard: south and southwest facing, 370-420 m a.s.l., clay and gravel soil.
Grape variety: Barbera
Fermentation: temperature controlled steel tank, wood aging for 12 months in tonneaux and barriques, French oak, 20% new.
Food combinations: risotto with porcini, red meat dishes
Nebbiolo’d’Alba doc
Vineyard: south and southwest facing, 370-420 m a.s.l., clay and gravel soil.
Grape variety: Nebbiolo
Fermentation: temperature controlled steel tank, wood aging for 24 months in casks, tonneaux and barriques, French and Slavonian oak, 20% new.

Barolo Sorano DOCG
Vineyard: southeast facing in Serralunga d’Alba , 280-300m a.s.l., clay and gravel soil.
Grape variety: Nebbiolo
Fermentation: temperature controlled steel tank, wood aging for 24 months in tonneaux and barriques, French oak, 30% new.
Food combinations: tajarin with white truffle, brasato al Barolo, game
Barolo Bricco San Pietro
Vineyard: south facing 350-400m a.s.l. in Monforte d’Alba Clay and sandstone soil.
