This small Belgian-owned estate is based in Diano d’Alba but is acquiring some Barolo vineyards. New in 2015 is this wine from Monforte, aged in partly new tonneaux and barriques. It’s closed on the nose, but the palate is rich and solid, showing ripe tannins and fine concentration. Spicy and lively, it has depth and nuance, with a crystallised fruit character on the finish.
