Sweetish on the nose with classic medicinal aromas, lots of chinato spice, with a carob base note and a little suggestion of sassafras. Supple in the mouth, there’s really finer inner mouth perfumes here reminiscent of medicinal, chinato spices and orange rind but layered and detailed. A bit diffuse and short on the finish but this in the mouthfeel is fascinating and really captures the terroir well. Tannins are ripe lend this an elegant feel.  Certainly savory but with fine fruit this could age quite well.
